GRAPPLINGFIGHT TEAMKUWAIT

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for every body in the room — from five years old to black belt. Technique, character, and a team that does not stop.

The academy

THE GENTLE ART. THE FIGHTING TEAM.

GFTeam Kuwait is the local chapter of Grappling Fight Team — one of the most decorated academies in Rio de Janeiro. The team was brought to Kuwait from Brazil in 2014 by Professor Abdulrahman AlHamdan, and is now led by Professor Jarrah Alhazza.

Three black belt assistant coaches — Abdullah Aljasmi, Mubarak Alsultan, and Saleh Almayyas — keep the standard high every night on the mats. Kids train from age 5. Adults start on day one. Competitors take the work on the road.

Our story

What we train for

OBJECTIVES

01

Technique first

We teach the GFTeam game — pressure, posture, and timing — so every student learns to solve problems on the mat.

02

Character on and off the mats

Jiu-jitsu is a daily practice in respect, humility, and grit. Leave your shoes and your ego at the door.

03

A path for every age

From five-year-olds in the kids program to adults and competitors, jiu-jitsu is for everyone — even when the goals vary.

04

Compete with purpose

When a student is ready, we take them to the local circuit and beyond. Medals follow the work. Não Para.

Leading coach

JARRAH ALHAZZA

The academy is now led by Professor Jarrah Alhazza, a black belt known across the Gulf as a competitor and a teacher. The first Kuwaiti martial artist to step onto the ONE Championship stage, he still coaches from the middle of the room — not the sideline.
